Congratulations to our seven First Place winners of the Crescendo International Competition!
Seven local pianists from The Music Cellar earned this honor after competing in the Crescendo International Piano Competition in January 2026.
At this round of the competition, these talented young musicians achieved the highest overall scores, placing 1st and securing the opportunity to perform on one of the world’s most prestigious stages, Carnegie Hall in New York City!
They competed against students representing countries from across the globe, including Australia, Germany, Mongolia, Ireland, China, Austria, Argentina, Korea, Canada, Singapore, Japan, Turkey, France, England, Brazil, Italy, and the United States.
